2023 was a great music year for me on both a professional and personal level. As part of the The Killers touring band, I played over 40 shows throughout the world, including headlining appearances at England’s Reading Festival and Brazil’s Primavera Sounds Festival for audiences of over 70,000 each night.
As a solo artist, I played over 30 shows, ranging from open mics, coffeehouses and brewpubs to private parties, fundraisers and opening spots for major acts like The Killers, The Wallflowers and Chris Isaak—acts that revere older music and use its influence to create lasting music of their own. Hopefully some of their transformative power has rubbed off on my songwriting for solo album #2.
